Biography
Daniel Fornes is the Asset Manager of Legacy Residential Group overseeing property operations, capital improvement planning, and portfolio performance.
In this role, Daniel ensures Legacy communities are maintained to the highest standards, while enhancing resident satisfaction and long-term value.
Daniel brings more than 18 years of real estate experience, with expertise in large-scale repair and maintenance programs, capital recovery initiatives, and portfolio optimization. Before joining Legacy, he served as Asset Manager at My Community Homes, a KKR company, where he oversaw repair and maintenance for a $3 billion portfolio of 7,000 homes. Earlier in his career, he managed the centralized facility maintenance program for 580 commercial properties at Ryder System.
A United States Marine Corps veteran, Daniel applies a disciplined and solutions-driven approach to asset management. He earned a Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism from the University of Miami, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and is a licensed Florida real estate professional.
