It is their understanding and experience that has built legacy residential group to the company it is today and it is their continued vision and commitment that shapes the future.





Tom Cabrerizo is the Founder and CEO of CFH Group LLC, now known as Legacy Residential Group LLC. Tom formed CFH Group in 1998 to manage a portfolio of industrial and residential properties he had acquired beginning in the 1980’s. Over the past 23 years, CFH Group has acquired, developed and self-managed over 25,000 multifamily apartment units and over one million square feet of commercial space in the Southeast United States. Today, the company owns and manages in excess of 6,000 units and has another 2,500+ units in development. Always in search of a competitive advantage, Mr. Cabrerizo founded Paramount Depot and Paramount Nursery, now known as Plant life, in 2005. With the addition and growth of these two in-house resources for building and landscape material, Legacy Residential Group continues to offer superior value, cost control efficiencies providing better value for both ownership and their tenants. Prior to CFH Group, Tom was the Founder and CEO of Trends Clothing Corp., a vertically integrated apparel company. Occupying over 800,000 square feet of facilities located in Miami, Florida, and the Dominican Republic. The company sourced and distributed apparel brands such as, BUM Equipment, Jimmy Z’s, Ecko, Blue Marlin, Mossimo, LEI, and Ocean Pacific. These brands were sold through a variety of retail channels including mass merchants, department stores, national chains, and specialty stores such as, Target, Sears, Walmart and Kmart. Mr. Cabrerizo has always sought opportunities to give back to the Community. His philanthropic efforts have broadly focused on the areas of healthcare and education. Tom is a proud sponsor of multiple hospitals and charitable organizations such as Camilus House, Baptist Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Special Surgery Hospital in NY, the Woody Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation, Guitars over Guns and Saint Stephen Hungary School Foundation.



Managing Director - Acquisitions & Finance

Nathan Vedrani has overseen in excess of four billion dollars in commercial and multi-family acquisitions, financing and dispositions for Legacy Residential Group and affiliates over the past 20 years. In this pivotal role, Mr. Vedrani provides in-depth underwriting services, handles negotiations with lenders, brokers, sellers, buyers and attorneys. Prior experience as a broker for Marcus and Millichap and as a financial analyst for Fidelity Investments affords Mr. Vedrani a keen understanding of both sides of the real estate transaction, enabling him to maximize value for all those involved.



Principal, Portfolio Manager

Tommy is a managing partner of Legacy Residential Group. Prior to joining the company in 2014, he worked at Marcus & Millichap, one of the top financial intermediaries where he developed a comprehensive understanding of financing and investment real estate. His experience working for CD Group further developed his acumen of the industry. As Portfolio Manager, Tommy focuses on the stability of each asset while administering the day to day operations and adding value to the properties, evaluating capital expenditure projects that provide a better return on investment. He oversees new construction and development opportunities for the portfolio. Tommy holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Catholic University of America.



Chief Financial Officer

Nayade Alpizar is Chief Financial Officer of Legacy Residential Group. She is responsible for overseeing all areas of accounting including treasury, financing and forecasting, operating and real estate development, planning and analysis, setting controls, audit compliance and partnership reporting. In addition to her accounting leadership, Nayade works directly with the CEO on strategy, infrastructure management and business continuity. She brings to the Company three decades of financial and operational experience in real estate investments and property management. Prior to joining Legacy Residential Group in 2012, Nayade served as Chief Financial Officer of Biscayne Atlantic, where she assisted the Chief Executive Officer on tactical matters as they relate to operations, budget management, due diligence, acquisition and repositioning of various types of real estate including distressed and underutilized properties, over 1 million square feet of office space, hotels, multi-family apartments, converted condominiums, and timeshares. Nayade holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Florida International University. She ranked first in her class, earning the highest distinction of Summa Cum Laude.



Vice President

With over 30 years of extensive hands on management experience in the multi-family industry, Gliset Perez has contributed to the development of the team and effectively helped structure and refine our management plan. Her valuable knowledge of the industry can be attributed to her previous employment at Gannon Management where she held several leadership roles and supported thousands of apartment homes for over 20 years. Gliset leads the multifamily team of Legacy Residential Group which includes overseeing the development of community operations, implementing initiatives and strategies to maximize resident satisfaction, financial performance, and company profits.



In-House Counsel

Mr. Rodriguez has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2001. His past experience includes working as an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, a position in which he learned to make quick decisions on difficult matters while managing a 300-file caseload. Mr. Rodriguez also worked at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he dealt with the demanding work of providing the highest level of legal services to demanding institutional clients. For the better part of the last thirteen years, his practice has been concentrated in transactional real estate and business matters. His clients have included individuals, small and large businesses, and financial institutions in a wide variety of both residential and commercial transactions. In addition to the Florida Bar, Mr. Rodriguez is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.



Director of Human Resources

Mary Alvarez serves as the Director of Human Resources and Payroll Administrator for Legacy Residential Group. In her 30+ year career, Mary has worked with companies in a wide variety of industries, ranging in size from 30 to 1,500 employees. She has over 20 years of Payroll / Human Resources Administration experience in areas including payroll administration, multi-jurisdictional payrolls, payroll audits, and policy and procedure development.



Director of Operations

Ivan brings a unique perspective and a vast array of experience to the Legacy team. He has a BBA and an MBA in Accounting and a minor in Military Science from the University of Puerto Rico. Certifications from Florida include General Contractor, Real Estate Broker and Condominium Association Manager Licenses. Ivan has over 30 years of experience in business administration, and real estate operations and he oversees and manages the construction, renovations and maintenance operations of the company. Most recently, Ivan directed the condominium conversion operations of approximately 10,000 condominium units in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina and serves on several HOA Board of Directors.




Jose Fuertes is the Controller of Legacy Residential Group. He holds a CPA license from the State of California, a Master in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor in Accounting from Universidad Central de Venezuela. He began his career with the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP in Venezuela, as part of the assurance department. Prior to joining Legacy Residential Group, he was a Senior Accountant at Pacific Urban Residential, a multifamily investment company headquartered in Palo Alto, California. Jose manages the day-to-day accounting, operating, and financial reporting for our residential and commercial portfolio.



Vice President of Marketing

Katherine Furniss is Vice President of Marketing for Legacy Residential Group. In this role she is responsible for the creation, implementation, and upkeep of all marketing campaigns that support the company’s objectives, including all signage and marketing collateral. Her focus on brand management and innovative strategies to maximize resident retention and satisfaction drive the portfolio’s high occupancy. In addition to overseeing all marketing platforms for the residential portfolio of over 5,000 units, Katherine manages the brand's integrity, visibility and reputation at the corporate level. She is involved in the implementation of new business development programs that efficiently streamline processes within the company. Katherine graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005 and shortly after joined the company. She has been leading the marketing department for over 15 years and most recently led the evolution of the company from CFH Group to its recent inauguration of the Legacy brand.



Marketing Manager

Stephanie Ortiz is the Marketing Manager for Legacy Residential Group. She supports the residential properties through the creation of marketing materials, social media and community engagement. Having previously worked at the property level, she developed a passion for connecting others which she utilizes to bridge communication between the corporate office and the on-site teams to foster resident and vendor relationships. Stephanie leads our employee training & development and remains versed in industry trends that maintain the company culture.



Director of Safety & Compliance

Since relocating to Florida in 2004, Paul has been building on his experiences in the multifamily industry. Initially beginning his multifamily career as an inspector for Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, he then spent the next nine years working for HUD, traveling throughout the country inspecting multifamily properties. After leaving HUD in 2016, Paul joined Legacy Residential Group and was tasked with overseeing the safety and compliance of the more than 6,000 multifamily units. Conducting safety audits, inspections, and providing instruction for the entire maintenance and property management staff, Paul's primary concern is to ensure a safe, ADA compliant and injury-free environment at each location to eliminate risk and minimize liability.



Regional Manager

Hector Gomez is a veteran of residential property management with 20 years of experience in the Florida market. His employers have included The Related Group, Professional Management and Morguard. He has directed a diverse portfolio from single family homes and condominiums to Tax Credit, Section 8, Elderly, Mixed Finance and Conventional communities. He has experience with the stabilization of distressed properties and lease ups. Mr. Gomez has earned his Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation and is a Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM).



Regional Manager

As a Regional Manager, Veronica Marchetta serves as a vital liaison between the on-site teams and the corporate office by overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing policies, practices and procedures to meet budgeted financial goals and achieve operational objectives. She has a background that includes Condominium Management as President of the Board of Directors at several condominiums in South Florida, along with over 10 years of experience in the Multifamily Property Management industry. Veronica holds a degree in Marketing from the University of Florida, is a licensed Real Estate Broker, and Condominium Association Manager licensee.



Regional Manager

Ms. Martinez is responsible for the direct oversight of over 2,000 units and 14 properties located in Florida. She oversees all aspect of property operations including financials, performance, and supervision of the managers and site staff. With over 20 years of experience in the property management industry, Ms. Martinez is a proven leader in driving results and ensuring the achievement of immediate and long-term goals. Her valuable knowledge of the industry can be attributed to her previous employment with Berkshire Communities where she held several leadership roles for 10 years. Throughout her career at Berkshire Communities Ms. Martinez was awarded Region Property of the Year for 5 consecutive years, Consistency of Operation, was recognized through the South Florida Apartment Association, Circle of Excellence Award in 2009, South Florida Apartment Association, and Community of the year 2010. Ms. Martinez has extensive experience in managing lease ups, high rise, market rent conventional, and HUD properties.



Vice President of Development

Erick Valderrama leads Legacy’s multifamily apartment development and construction division. He is a South Florida native that has provided development and construction management services for the last 25 years. He has successfully completed many large complex construction projects throughout many of the industry’s market sector spectrums from high-rises to sports stadiums.

Alexander Moya

Regional Vice President of Development

As a Florida Certified General Contractor with a background in building construction, project management and strategic design, Alexander Moya oversees the development of Legacy Residential's communities in the central Florida market. He is the Founder of Ocean Contractors, LLC and has worked on a wide variety of projects within Multifamily, Healthcare, Heavy-Civil, Sports Arenas, Hospitality, Retail and Office. Alexander is a Miami native and graduate of the University of Florida.

Development Associate

Manny Liz is involved across all facets of new real estate development for the company. His responsibilities include overseeing the development, design, permitting, construction, and turnover of new luxury multifamily market-rate developments throughout the state of Florida as well as working alongside the executive team to identify new business opportunities, partnerships, development techniques, and multi-family housing trends. Prior to joining Legacy Residential Group, Manny obtained an MBA from Florida International University in 2014 and subsequently started his career in real estate development at Atlantic Pacific Companies where he was responsible for the day to day oversight of multiple real estate developments throughout Florida, Texas, and California. During his tenure at Atlantic Pacific he developed over 1,500 market-rate and affordable housing apartments.

Development Associate

Erik Downs has been with Legacy Residential Group since 2016. As the development analyst, he handles comprehensive market research and underwriting for future developments and oversees value-add multifamily projects that have long-term appreciation potential.
